The Grammy awards have been announced and Mary J. Blige is back on top leading the way with 8 nods. This has been a great Album for MJB. Even though it started off slow she picked up steam and never looked back. She once again proves why she is the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul.

Also giving multiple nods are my favorite country singing group the Dixie Chicks. Even though they have had a rough year with their "anti" George Bush statement their true fans have stuck by them. I'm proud to see that the Grammy Association has also. They make me proud to be a American because they spoke their minds which is every American's right AND DUTY.
